Conviction, Based on the true story of Betty Anne Waters. While an unemployed single mother, she saw her brother convicted for a murder/robbery in 1983 and sentenced to life in prison. Convinced of his innocence, Betty Anne spent the next decade earning a law degree. In 1995 she began working on her brother’s case and challenged the conviction with DNA evidence. She eventually proved her brother’s innocence and made him a free man.
